สวัสดีคับ คราวที่แล้วเพิ่งจะเขียนถึง คุณซิคเว่ กับหนังสือของเค้าไป เพิ่งจะมารู้ว่าเค้าจะออกจากตำแหน่ง CEO ที่ DTAC ซะแล้ว ตกข่าวอย่างแรง!!!

จบกันเลยความฝันที่จะได้ทำงานร่วมกับพี่ท่าน สงสัยจะเจอหนังสือเล่มนี้ช้าไป

หลังจากที่อ่านจบผมลองเอาชื่อหนังสือไป search ดู… โอว ช่างมีคนมากมายเหลือเกินที่ได้แรงบันดาลใจและกำลังใจจากหนังสือเล่มนี้

ในขณะที่ผมอ่านไปตาม blog ชาวบ้านเค้า ก็เผอิญเจอ blog ของคนที่เหมือนว่าจะเคยรู้จักห่างๆ อยู่คนนึง ขออนุญาตไม่อ้างอิงนะครับ เพราะไม่รู้จักเป็นการส่วนตัว

..ใน blog เค้าบอกว่าได้อ่านหนังสือเล่มนี้ แล้วอยากจะไปทำงานที่ DTAC (เหมือนผม) ก็เลยส่งใบสมัครไปหลายต่อหลายรอบ (ผมยังไม่ได้ส่งใบสมัครเลย) DTAC ก็ไม่เรียกไปสัมภาษณ์ซักที สุดท้ายเลยตัดสินใจเขียนเมล์ไปหาคุณธนา เธียรอัจฉริยะ บอกว่าอยากร่วมงานกับ DTAC (เจ๋งอ่ะ ผมก็อยากทำมั่ง) เท่านั้นแหล่ะ มีคนโทรมาเรียกไปสัมภาษณ์…

อ่านแล้วรู้สึกว่า อืม.. องค์กรเขาเป็นแบบที่บอกจริงๆนะ ไม่ได้แค่เป็นหลักการในหนังสือ

แต่ไม่รู้จะเหมือนเดิมอีกมั๊ย DTAC จะยังเป็นบริษัทน่าจะไปร่วมงานอยู่อีกไหม เพราะคุณซิคเว่ จะไปแล้ว Y-Y
ถึงจะบอกว่าไม่ได้ไปไหนไกล เพราะก็ไปเป็น CEO ของ Telenor Asia แถมสำนักงานก็อยู่เมืองไทยนี่เอง
แต่ความรู้สึกก็คงไม่เหมือนกันเนอะ เห็นว่ามีคนร้องไห้ด้วยที่คุณซิคเว่จะออกจาก DTAC ดีจังนะครับเป็นหัวหน้าที่มีลูกน้องรักขนาดนี้ แต่ทั้งนี้ทั้งนั้นก็ไม่ได้หมายความว่า Mr. Tore Johnsen ว่าที่ CEO DTAC คนใหม่จะไม่ดีหรือเก่งสู้คุณซิคเว่ไม่ได้นะครับ ยังไงก็ต้องรอดูกันต่อไป

แล้วก็อย่างเคยครับ ตามไสตล์คุณซิคเว่ก็ต้องมีอีเมล์ถึงพนักงานเกี่ยวกับการย้ายตำแหน่งงานของตัวเองซะหน่อย เหมือนตอนที่ส่งเมล์ หรือ sms ข้อคิดดีๆ ที่กลายมาเป็นบทความในหนังสือ My life as a coach นั่นเอง

Dear Dtac friends

As you may have heard already today, I have got a new job as CEO of Telenor Asia, and I will therefore have to leave as Dtac CEO. The change will happen September 1, and a new CEO will come in.

His name is Tore Johnsen. I can guarantee you that he is a very good man. I have known him for 10 years, he is a friend, and I am very sure that he will continue to build Dtac the way we have built it together.

Actually, I am not really leaving Dtac. In my new job I will be responsible for following up Dtac as a Board director and as a shareholder, and even though I also will be responsible for 3 more companies in Asia, Dtac will definitely be closest to my heart.

I am therefore not saying goodbye.

I have been with you since October 2002. Frankly, I have enjoyed every single day. You have all given me so much, and thanks to you all,

I am a better person and a better leader today then when I came to Dtac.

The one thing I am the most proud of, is the change I have seen in all of you. You have heard me many times talking about my job as “a coach”.

I have tried to coach you as best as I can, because I knew that one day I would have to do something else. Dtac is in my view a much, much better company today. Not because of technology or marketing or promotions or finance.

But because the quality of the Dtac people is so much better today. It has been tough times, it has been many changes, it has been tears, sweat and headaches.

But there has also been fun, passion, action and lots of learning. We will never be perfect, I hope Dtac actually never will be perfect, because then it’s not fun and challenging anymore.

I have asked you to change so many times. And you have taken it as a positive challenge. I admire you all for this positive thinking. Now it is time for me to do a change,

and I will also try to meet my change with the same positive thinking as you did. And this is the test to all of you, if you can carry on and continue everything we have build up together without me as your CEO,

well then my friends, we have all succeeded, and Dtac has become a Great Company.

I am not saying goodbye, and on Monday is back to business. September is still many weeks ahead, and we have more work to do.

I will continue to work hard every day in the coming weeks, and together will continue our fight.
